FAQs

Do I have to cut out carbs to lower my blood sugar?

No! One of the biggest misconceptions about blood sugar management is that you must cut all carbs. I help women 40+ learn how to balance carbs with protein, fiber, and healthy fats so they can enjoy their favorite foods without blood sugar spikes or cravings.

Can you help if I’m already on medication like Ozempic or Mounjaro?

Absolutely. My coaching supports medication use by focusing on nutrition, lifestyle, and behaviors that complement your treatment. Whether you’re starting medication or adjusting doses, I help you navigate food choices and habits that optimize your health.

What if I’ve tried every diet and nothing works?

You’re not alone—and it’s not your fault. Many diets don’t address the unique hormonal and metabolic changes women experience after 40. My approach is about sustainable, realistic changes—not quick fixes. We work together to create habits that fit your life and your body’s needs.

How does 1:1 coaching work?

Coaching begins with an in-depth assessment of your health history, lifestyle, and goals. Together, we create a personalized plan and meet regularly (in person or via video). You’ll get support, accountability, and education tailored specifically to you.

Do you offer group programs or meal plans?

Yes! In addition to 1:1 coaching, I offer Dietitian-approved recipe and meal plan collections and occasional group programs like “10 in 10” for weight loss. Meal plans are also available for purchase including options for menopause, family meals, and more.

How do I get started?

The best first step is to book a free call. We’ll talk about your goals, challenges, and whether my coaching is a good fit. From there, we’ll find the right package or plan for you.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement depending on your plan.  You can use your HSA/FSA card to pay for my services.

What if I can’t commit to long-term coaching?

I offer a one-time Nutrition Clarity Hour for quick guidance on specific questions or challenges. It’s a great way to get expert advice without a long-term commitment.

How do you support accountability?

I use the Healthie app to track food, water, and exercise habits. This tool allows us to stay connected between sessions and adjust your plan as needed. Plus, you get ongoing messaging support depending on your package.
